Angler Wannabe: Pedernales River water level and fishing report
-
Ian Scott · 4 months agoWow! I hope you get some rain. I guess you'd need some torrential rain to save those fish from being doomed in their shrinking ponds.
-
deburris · 4 months agoNo real rain in the forecast still. I'm guessing by next week, they'll be gone.
-
ianscott · 4 months agoI am sorry to read that! Is this a one time thing, or does it regularly dry up in the summer?
-
deburris · 4 months agoNo, not common to dry up every summer. We've had a horrible summer with no rain and I think 70 or 80 days over 100 degrees F. It happens periodically but this summer is much worse than normal.
-
diefische · 4 months agoMan. Pretty depressing isn't it. This summer has really been crushing as far as water goes. I've even started fly tying this last week, 30 years before i thought i would, in an effort to keep from going stir crazy.
-
deburris · 4 months agoIt's awful. Fly tying is a good alternative that I need to start back up but I don't enjoy tying warm water flies as much as cold water. Think I need to take a trip soon.
